How to play Continental, the famous card game...

Continental is a card game played with two or more decks of cards and can be played with 2, 3, 4 or 6 players.

Objective of the Game: Be the first player to run out of cards in hand.

Card Distribution: Varies depending on the number of players…

With 2 players: 10 cards are dealt to each player.
With 3 players: 7 cards are dealt to each player.
With 4 players: 5 cards are dealt to each player.
With 6 players: 3 cards are dealt to each player.

Game Development:

The player to the dealer's left starts the game. On each turn, a player must play a card from their hand onto the table. The card played must be of the same suit as the card on the table (if possible). If a player cannot play a card of the same suit, they may play a card of another suit or a special card. The special cards and their effects are as follows:

Seven: Change suit.
Ten: Makes the next player draw two cards.
Ace: Makes the next player draw four cards.

If a player cannot play any cards (including special cards), they must draw a card from the deck/pile. Play continues until one player runs out of cards in their hand.

Additional Rules:

If a player plays his last card and runs out of cards, he must say "Continental" to indicate that he has won.

If a player forgets to say "Continental" and another player points this out before the next player takes their turn, that player must draw three cards as a penalty.

Winner: The first player to run out of cards in hand wins the game!
